Welcome to Fraud Checker. By accessing our Web Dashboard, API endpoints, or Mobile Application (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Account Registration & Security

• Eligibility: Registration and use of Fraud Checker is open to anyone who registers using an active Bangladeshi mobile phone number and successfully completes the SMS OTP (One-Time Password) verification process.
• Verification: You must provide a valid Bangladeshi mobile number. Registration is verified strictly through a real-time OTP check to ensure authenticity.
• Account Responsibility: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, and JWT or API tokens. Any action performed through your account is deemed your action.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

Fraud Checker provides courier aggregated delivery histories strictly to assist merchants with order verification and delivery success forecasting to prevent Cash-on-Delivery (COD) fraud.

You agree to adhere to the following rules:

• Legitimate Lookups Only: You may only query telephone numbers of customers who have initiated an active shopping cart checkout or order placement on your e-commerce shop.
• No Automated Scraping: You strictly agree not to use automated systems, scrapers, or bots to harvest phone numbers or aggregated data from our platform.
• No Unauthorized Lookups: You shall not use our lookups to stalk, harass, profile, or perform unauthorized background checks on any individual.
• No Redistribution: You are prohibited from selling, renting, licensing, or redistributing the delivery report metrics to any external advertising or data-broker networks.

3. Third-Party Courier Disclaimer

• Data Ownership: Fraud Checker is a dynamic aggregator. We do not own, control, or generate the parcel records. The reports (success, cancellation, return rates) are queried dynamically in real-time from active third-party logistics APIs (RedX, Pathao, Steadfast, Carrybee, Paperfly).
• No Accuracy Guarantees: We make no warranties that the compiled delivery percentages are 100% accurate, complete, or updated. Third-party logistics systems may contain clerical errors, outdated entries, or experience service delays.
• Merchant Decisions: Any business decision you make to fulfill, cancel, or withhold an order based on our fraud statistics is made at your own discretion and risk. We are not liable for returned parcels, delivery expenses, or cancelled order losses.

4. Subscriptions, Tokens, & Limits

• Usage Limits: Account tiers (Free and Paid) are subject to daily API call constraints and concurrent request rate limits.
• Billing: Premium packages are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Token Security: If your developer API token is compromised, you must immediately rotate or delete it from the developer page to prevent unauthorized billing.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAUD CHECKER AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF E-COMMERCE PROFITS, REVENUES, SHIPPED MERCHANDISE, OR DATA, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICE, COURIER API DOWNTIME, OR ANY ERIONEOUS LOGISTICS METRIC RETURNED BY OUR API.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
